KHI Services, Inc. operates a Level I adult outpatient alcohol and substance abuse clinic in our Germantown office. Adults typically enter the program through a DWI/DUI or a referral from the Montgomery County Adult Services unit, but anyone with concern about a substance use for themselves or a family member is eligible to come in for an assessment. Just call and ask for an appointment.

The Level I program opened in the fall of 2001, and serves adults through alcohol and drug individual and group counseling and educational services. This group counseling program is offered on Tuesday evenings, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Individual/Family sessions are arranged as needed.

Individuals may arrange for an initial assessment through the Office Manager. The assessment is conducted by a licensed therapist. We utilize the ASI assessment tool in additional to a face to face interview. An Individual Treatment Plan (ITP) is developed and agreed upon during the assessment or shortly thereafter.

Individual sessions are offered, as needed, but at a minimum after 45 days and 90 days in the program and approximately one month before completion of the program. A determination of progress at these meetings determines if any changes can/should be made to the ITP. An individualized discharge meeting completes our services.

Each client is made aware of the random drug and alcohol screening that is conducted as a part of this program. Clients may use their own laboratory, or use LabCorp, a local lab with which we have a contract. Alcohol screening is done randomly in-house.

For more information please contact our Office Manager to request pricing information or to schedule an appointment.
